Kauni produces a few colorways in a single ply lace weight. It is 100% wool, hand wash only.
100 grams is about 700 meters, or 760 yards.
Currently available in the two black and white colorways (which I cannot tell apart in the skein--see blog for more pictures), rainbow
is on order and will arrive mid-August. |

Standard Yarn Weight: 0, Lace
Hook Size: Steel 6,7,8 (1.6 - 1.4 mm) or B1(2.25 mm); Gauge in
Single Crochet: 32 - 42 stitches to 4 inches
Needle Size: US000 (1.5 mm) - US1(2.25 mm); Gauge in Knitted
Stockinette: 33 - 40 stitches to 4 inches
Lace weight yarns are usually knitted or crocheted on larger
needles and hooks to create lacy, openwork patterns. Accordingly,
a gauge range is difficult to determine. Always follow the gauge
stated in your pattern.
