Kauni yarns are imported from Estonia. Their colors are their trademark; distinctive whether strong or subtle.
The bands are not marked with dye-lots, only the color and fiber content, yardage and weight.
All the Kauni yarns here are 100% wool and hand-wash only. Prices given
are for one ball or skein of yarn. Variegated Effect Yarn skeins range from 130 to 170 grams,
with 400 meters to 100 grams; Solid Color skeins are about 100 grams.

It used to be that I bought Kauni yarns by the bag, and sold on the assumption that I could fill each order with the stated number of balls, and
the weight would average to 150 grams per ball. It worked very well for me.
Now things have changed. I buy Kauni yarns by the ball, so I made changes to the store to sell so each weight has its own price. It is very much
less confusing than any other method open to me!
